The Archway Botanical Club promotes the love and appreciation of nature, enriches the lives of students through responsible gardening practices, and increases awareness of ecology, botany, outdoor recreation and conservation. Not only will we learn how to grow flowers, herbs, and vegetables, but we will also discuss Arizona horticulture, different gardening systems, and sustainability, all while helping to beautify Archway Scottsdale through nature's landscape. (Mondays, 3:20 - 4:20pm).
Archway Choir is a non-auditioned choir designed for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students to further develop singing technique, explore unison and two-part choral repertoire, reinforce music concepts, and gain ensemble experience. Students will perform their song selections in the Fall Concert. (Tuesdays, 3:20 - 4:10pm)
Our After School Athletic Program is designed to build core virtues and develop athletic skills in children. Each sport includes 6 practices and a tournament with other Great Heart schools. Practices will be centered on developing skills to further enhance their understanding in each sport. The winning team after the tournament will be awarded with a medal. Our number one goal is to have fun and grow as an individual while competing (Thursdays, 3:20 - 4:30pm)

Join the 3rd through 5th Art Club as we set off on a series of adventures to discover the elements of art and principles of design used by various cultures throughout history. Participants will create masks inspired by the Kuba Kingdom in what is now the Democratic Republic of the Congo, draw a pastel portrait inspired by Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, create a Chinese dragon puppet, and more.(Mondays, 3:20 - 4:20pm)
Give your child a chance to discover the art of classical ballroom dance through classes led by world champions and their students. All classes have been specifically designed for beginners and will teach the art of rhythm, self-confidence, etiquette and manners, the ability to lead and follow, and to dance to the beat in a timeless way! Students will learn the basic routines of the most popular ballroom dances and finish the semester with a showcase performance! (Wednesdays, 3:20 - 4:20pm)
Come join your fellow strategists as we explore a variety of classical and contemporary board games. Students will be taught about game strategy, will learn about probability, and will develop teamwork and leadership skills. Most importantly, they will have fun while building new friendships across Archway. Please encourage your students to join us as we leave electronics at home and recharge with board games your whole family will love! (Fridays, 3:20 - 4:20pm)
Bricks4Kidz provides a stimulating atmosphere for young minds to build up motorized creations and have loads of fun using LEGO bricks. The activities are designed to spark imaginations and build self-confidence. Fun for all students grades K-5. Each session has a new theme and models. (Wednesdays, 3:20 - 4:20pm)
Calligraphy club is designed to teach students how to use calligraphy pens, develop their own style of calligraphy, and express their inner creativity through quotes that portray truth, goodness, and beauty. The goal of developing calligraphy skills would be to spread wisdom and kindness. (Fridays, 3:20 - 4:05pm)
Studies by major corporations and universities have shown that Chess can help students increase their math and verbal skills, as well as creative and critical thinking abilities. All grades and abilities welcome! (Thursdays, 3:20 - 4:20pm)
Gymnastics Club promotes physical fitness and develops gymnastics knowledge and ability. Students will learn gymnastics shapes and skills while building their endurance, coordination, balance, and strength. (Fridays, 3:20 - 4:05pm)
Intermediate Ukulele Club is designed for experienced 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students who were previously enrolled in the beginner class; new students with experience must audition. Students will learn chord structures and strum patterns and practice playing while singing. Students must provide their own ukulele. (Fridays, 3:20 - 4:10pm)
Running Club promotes physical activity before school which helps improve the health and focus of each individual scholar throughout the school day. Scholars will begin each morning with a dynamic warm-up focusing on proper running technique. This year, we will focus on agility and footwork to create more speed. The overall goal is to encourage healthy active lifestyles. In addition, all participants will receive ribbons for different milestones they reach during the club. (M-F, 7:15 - 7:45am)
Learn Spanish while having fun! Students will learn Spanish naturally through interaction while singing, playing, and developing their creativity. (Tuesdays, 3:20 - 4:15pm)
We will learn about the different types of debate, the history of debate and its role in our society. These will include policy debate, Lincoln-Douglas debate and Congressional debate. Students will get to participate in all three types of debate and this will lay the foundation for those students that will participate in the Debate Club at Scottsdale Prep. (Mondays, 3:20 - 4:20pm)
TechFun promotes technology education through interactive, game-based learning. Students will be introduced to coding utilizing our complete, sequential coding curriculum. Participants will also challenge each other’s knowledge by engaging in high-energy learning applications fostering communication and problem solving. Meet new friends, learn new skills, and have fun!(Tuesdays, 3:20 - 4:20pm)
Tennis Club is for all ages and levels. Students will progress through our red/orange/green dot progression. Students will learn to work together, develop hand eye coordination and understand the game of Tennis earlier. Rackets will be provided if needed. (Wednesdays, 3:20 - 4:20pm)
Develop your acting skills with Mr. Higby and Ms. Higby in Theatre Club! In our class, students will study the ins and outs of character development, storytelling, and improvisation! We will spend our time working on a short theatrical production that will be presented at the end of the semester. (Fridays, 3:20 - 4:20pm)
